The Mini Mule Back Upper is laser cut to precision from a solid piece of plate aluminum.
The XRMBU, as with all of the JERK Engineered Products line of rear-mounted systems, is engineered to serve you on the toughest terrain and harshest places you may travel to.
The XRMBU mounts securely to the innovative structural hinge bracket system and requires a mounting hole in the door near the rear Mercedes symbol and two at the top of the Mini Mule Back. Multi-point mounting is part of the engineering of quality products that serve your needs as you venture out in your overland rig and preserve the integrity of your vehicle.
Included are reinforcement plates to be sure your system is integrated with your van correctly.
The installation of this unit is made simple with videos and instructions. Note that there is NO NEED to change out the hinges—ever! You keep your original hinges, which are panted the color of your van!
